Parade Route

Timeline

12:00PM - Parade begins at Moxley and follows Linear Path to Saltonstall Field.  Plan to meet at the Moxley parking lot at 11:45am or join in along the parade route.  The parade will be led by City of Watertown department gators (utility vehicles) and our DJ with equipment on wheels!

12:30PM - Welcome and Community Art Project reveal then the festivities begin!

Includes: 

-live entertainment (DJ and performances)

-photo station

-Kids' Zone (with sand and bubbles)
-face painting

-beachball volleyball and other games with Watertown Recreation staff

-food trucks and tiki mocktail cash bar

-free popsicles and popcorn

1:00PM - Glitter bar applications begin (free and open to 4pm)

4:00PM - Foam Party until 5pm
(no need to change into a bathing suit - wearing your regular clothing is fine, but we suggest bringing a towel!)

Laurie Pinkham
Laurie has been performing High Femme Drag as Miss Lady Glittersparkles and as Drag King, Kenny Bemanley, throughout the East Coast for 25 years.  She got her start by winning the title Miss New England High Femme Drag Diva.  Then she was invited to be a member of All the Kings Men, a Boston-based Drag King troupe that toured New England, New York, Los Angeles, and London.

Danny B. Goode
Danny uses his drag platform to positively impact the community, and strives to help make the world a place where everyone can feel safe, loved and celebrated. Danny recently won the historic title of Mister Gay New England United States MI 2023, competed on season 1 of project Dragology in Portland Maine, as well as other Dragology shows. Danny has also appeared in numerous pride events, open stages, local shows, and Drag Fest 2023 to support the ACLU Drag Defense Fund. In his spare time, Danny is a volunteer teaching assistant at Safe Place International, a place for LGBTQIA+ refugees in Africa and beyond, and is married to the love of his life Savanna Remis-Hagerthy.

Tee Sparks
Mr. Trans Massachusetts 2022 and former Mr. Trans Rhode Island USA 2019-2021, Mr. Trans Congeniality USA 2019-2021, Mr. Boston Pride 2017-2018, Mr. Worcester Pride 2016, Mr. Gay Boston 2016 and Mr. Don't Hate8 Stud Star 2014 has been an openly trans male Boston based drag king originally from our beautiful area of Watertown (class of 2003). He has been an active advocate for the LGBTQIA community for 25 years.  With his high energy, upbeat mixes, fast dance moves, and that amazing glitter beard, Tee will have you out of your seat joining the show.  He is excited and honored to have a dream become a realty by participating in this event and cannot wait to celebrate Pride with each and every one of you!
