2026 Pride Advisory Committee Members

is the City Liaison with the Watertown Pride Advisory Committee and has been the Supervisor of Teen Services at the Watertown Free Public Library for many years. This is her third year of bringing Watertown Pride to the community. Creating a space where LGBTQIA+ youth feel seen, heard, and valued so they can be their fabulous selves on Pride (and everywhere else!) drives Carey to work on Pride.

is a grant administrator at UMass Boston and serves as Program Co-Chair of the Watertown Pride Committee. A West End original and Watertown High School GSA alum, he first became involved with Watertown Pride as an organizer in 2024. In his current role, he secures funding to support programming and coordinates entertainment and speakers for Pride events.

is a proud Armenian-American, and Watertown Pride Committee Communications Co-Chair. Her passion for volunteering with community organizations in the greater Boston area led her to co-chair the 2026 Watertown Pride Advisory Committee and to join the World in Watertown board. Fun fact: Anna enjoys birdwatching and playing board games.

is a Watertown resident and the founder of Gather, a social group for women, as well as an organizer within the local ace community. She is excited to collaborate with the Pride Advisory Committee to help create a joyful celebration. To her, Watertown Pride is about joy, authenticity, and visibility. She’s passionate about fostering spaces for friendship and meaningful community connection.

moved to the United States from China at age 20 for graduate school and now lives in Watertown with his nesting partner. He works as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at a mental health platform company and teaches community yoga classes. A first-generation immigrant, Xin is passionate about advancing equity and inclusion—especially for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities—and building solidarity across underrepresented groups. Xin was elected a Watertown Free Public Library Trustee in 2025, serves as a Watertown Human Rights Commissioner, sits on the board of World in Watertown (where he previously served as Chair), and is a co-founder of the Chinese American Association of Watertown.

is a marketing strategist, writer, and community volunteer who recently made Watertown her home after many years working in Washington, D.C. She is the founder of Show & Tell, a boutique content strategy and storytelling firm that helps mission-driven organizations communicate their ideas, research, and impact. She is passionate about supporting inclusive civic spaces, building connections among neighbors, and contributing to the vibrant cultural life of the city she now calls home.

is a practicing optometrist and adjunct faculty for the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences School of Optometry. They have also taught for the New England College of Optometry focusing on pediatrics, community health, and in a mobile clinic serving K-12 students in disadvantaged communities. They serve as a board member for Partners for Visual Health, and World in Watertown. For Diane, Pride represents being able to live life authentically. Fun fact: Diane has fostered and adopted out 53 homeless dogs through All Dog Rescue and Broken Tail Rescue.

is an educator who has lived in Watertown for nearly 20 years. She has a long-standing commitment to promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion in schools and, for the past decade, has focused on helping families and communities understand, support and advocate for transgender youth. Angela is excited to join the Pride team this year and help create an event that both celebrates and educates!
