The City of Watertown invites you to participate in a community art project. Wooden hearts decorated by members of the community will be displayed on the outfield fence at Saltonstall Park behind City Hall for the duration of the summer!
Pick up your heart to decorate at home starting on Friday, May 10th from one of these locations:
Watertown Boys and Girls Club (25 Whites Ave)
Watertown Senior Center (31 Marshall St)
Watertown Free Public Library (123 Main St)
Paint your heart! It will already be primed and it is recommended to use acrylic paint so your artwork withstands the weather.
Drop off your completed artwork at any of the locations above by Wednesday, May 29th.
Visit watertownfoundation.org/watertown-helps-out to sign up as a volunteer if you’re interested in helping install this project on Thursday, May 30th.
Save the date! The grand unveiling will take place at the start of Watertown’s Pride Month event on June 2nd at Saltonstall Park. Visit WatertownPride.com for more event details and hope to see you there!
